Sophia was kidnapped by Headlight Tattoo in March 2000, and has been tattooing since the first day she was dragged in through the front door. She is a graduate of the Hussian School of Art, and is an accomplished artist. She is a member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society, and has had paintings on display at the Atlantic City Art Center, various galleries and exhibits, as well as many public buildings and institutions..
Sophia specialize in large custom work, and frequently researches various reference materials to create desired images for her clients. Sophia likes to work in many styles such as full color spectra and black and gray, but also enjoys the occasional petite design as well as customized flash or tribal.
Sophia has won awards at International Tattoo Conventions for Black and Gray and Tribal Tattooing. At the 2005 National Tattoo Convention in Miami, she was awarded a rather prestigious winning for the Fine Art category, which is a monumental achievement. Sophia's flash designs have been featured in Tattoo Flash Magazine as a full page. She also won the 1st place cash Photo competition for a portrait of Elvis. Her tattoo work has been published in "Beautifully Tattooed Women and Tattoo Flash Magazine" and most every other American tattoo magazine. Sophia is a U.S. citizen by birth, and is married to the most amazing man, who saves lives daily, especially hers.
